ALL ABOUT BSAC TRAVEL
Welcome! We hope you will find this site useful - our aim is to make it the information source of choice for all travelling divers whether they are planning a short day trip or a longer group expedition.
Although the BSAC is a membership-based organisation, BSAC Travel is open to everyone. We therefore welcome divers with a wide range of affiliations, qualifications and backgrounds. Our objective is simple - to help you make the best possible dive travel decisions.
We don’t know how or when you usually research and plan your diving trips and holidays, but if you’re anything like us, you probably brighten up the dark, cold winter nights with a stack of holiday brochures and diving literature. Maybe, like us, you not only plan a personal diving holiday, but are involved in organising Club or group diving trips or holidays.
The BSAC launched BSAC Travel specifically to help you in these activities.
After all, whether you are planning a day’s diving in a different part of the U.K.,
a family holiday to include some diving, or a two week full-on liveaboard trip for the Branch, you want it to be enjoyable, successful and great value for money. No one wants to waste time or money these days – we’re all too busy.
The problem is that there are so many advertisements, so many glossy brochures it can be difficult to sift the facts from the hype.
What you really need is a trusted, well-travelled friend whom you can ask for advice, another diver.
BSAC Travel and its dedicated team of divers has been designed to help you in all these areas – it was born out of the team’s experience of organising complex diving trips – and that expertise is now at your disposal, along with so much more.
BSAC Travel offers you:
- A Dedicated Website which aims to provide the world’s best source of unbiased travel advice and information for divers by divers.
- An expanding online location by location Guidebook to the diver’s U.K – where to stay, launch, find a charter boat, a dive operator, what are the dive sites.
- A growing online country by country Guidebook to the diver’s world.

As one dive organiser said to us recently "I wish I’d had BSAC Travel available to me years ago when I started organising Branch diving holidays – it would have saved me so much work, not to mention a lot of money."
Please, give it a try – as we like to say – “Don’t Travel Rough – Travel BSAC”!
