Additional allowance for divers Passengers carrying diving equipment as one of the two allowable pieces of checked baggage may do so at no extra charge. If the diving equipment is in addition to their normal baggage allowance the charge will be GB£55.00

Equipment carriage requirements Air Jamaica considers the following as one set of scuba diving equipment, and must be carried as checked baggage only:- One EMPTY scuba tank
One scuba regulator
One tank pressure gauge
Knife
One spear gun
One safety vest. These items should be securely encased to avoid protrusions.
Specialist camera carriage requirements If it conforms to the allowable dimensions/weight noted above, it may be accepted as the piece of carry-on baggage. Outside of this, that equipment would have to be packed and carried as part of the checked baggage allowance.
Current security advice Civil Aviation Regulations now stipulate that passengers may have no more than one piece of carry-on baggage. This baggage must not contain any object which may be classed as sharp or dangerous i.e. dive knife.
