Standard Carry-on Baggage Allowance ONE cabin bag, no bigger than 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm (approximately 22 inches x 17.5 inches x 9.85 inches).
Standard Checked Baggage Allowance Within Europe: FIRST and Club World– 3 Bags, Club Europe and World Traveller Plus- 2 Bags, World Traveller and Euro Traveller - 1 Bag. Worldwide: FIRST and Club World - 3 bags World Traveller Plus and World Traveller - 2 bags. Maximum dimensions per bag (H+W+L): 158cm (62in) Maximum weight per bag: 23kg
Additional allowance for divers Passengers may take one piece of sporting equipment in addition to their checked baggage allowance. The following diving equipment can be considered as one piece of sporting equipment: One suitably packed diving kit consisting of not more than one each of the following items: face mask, fins (pair), pressure gauge, regulator, Buoyancy Control Device (BCD), Snorkel, weight belt, cylinder tank.
Automatic or requested (whom) If you are carrying or planning to carry dive kit you must contact British Airways reservations at least 24 hours prior to travel.
Excess baggage fees All baggage in excess of free checked baggage allowances will be charged at a fixed fee depending on the length of the journey. Domestic flight: £30 per extra piece. Shorthaul flight: £60 per extra piece. Longhaul: £120 per extra piece

Specialist camera carriage requirements Film material over 1000ASA/31 DIN should be removed and offered for screening separately.

General Comments You will receive the most generous allowance on connecting journeys with British Airways, where you have purchased one ticket your whole journey (a through ticket). You may lock your bags except when travelling from the USA.
