| Additional allowance for divers |
Passengers may take one piece of sporting equipment in addition to their checked baggage allowance. The following diving equipment can be considered as one piece of sporting equipment: One suitably packed diving kit consisting of not more than one each of the following items: face mask, fins (pair), pressure gauge, regulator, Buoyancy Control Device (BCD), Snorkel, weight belt, cylinder tank.

All baggage in excess of free checked baggage allowances will be charged at a fixed fee depending on the length of the journey. Domestic flight: £30 per extra piece. Shorthaul flight: £60 per extra piece. Longhaul: £120 per extra piece

You will receive the most generous allowance on connecting journeys with British Airways, where you have purchased one ticket your whole journey (a through ticket). You may lock your bags except when travelling from the USA.
