Activities	To train divers for reef observation, conservation and management programs. Dive courses, dive holidays.
Purpose	The purpose of the reefwatch worldwide organisation is to set up self funding coral observation projects all over the world. The projects aim is to get a constantly updating picture on the state of the worlds reefs. We also aim to learn a lot more about the species that live there.Once trained many of our volunteers independantly assess reefs using the techniques learned with us and report from all over the world, currently ith have divers reporting from 6 locations in thailand, the maldives, mexico, tanzania, and the philipines. Infomation gathered is shared with other global coral data networks and used inform and advise local and world goventments about the need to set up and maintain effecive marine parks and the effects of global warming.
What do customers do	Surveying coral reef using digital photography, identifying which species are present and performing behavioural studies to increase or knowledge about them. Reef management and conservation programs, placing and maintaining mooring buoys, setting up artificial reefs and removing fishing nets. Helping us to produce videos and guide books to educate divers and snorkellers about the reef, the more people enjoy the reef the more they'll want to look after it.
What sort of people	Anyone with any level of interest in reef observation and conservation. You supply the enthusiasm we'll supply the training.
Cost:	No more exensive than being a tourist.
Where do you operate	Currently our main base is in Krabi in the south west of Thailand. Divers we have trained are working all over Thailand, Mexico, Tanzania and the Philippines
