PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION - 2008

The BSAC Travel Photographic Competition offers some truly tempting prizes for this year's winners, quite apart from the pleasure of seeing your photograph published as one of our monthly Great Shots. The winner of the Newcomer's Category will win a Tony Backhurst "Get Wrecked" holiday for two aboard Typhoon in the Red Sea.

The winner of our Open Category is set to win a a trip for two to the Seychelles for 10 days including 3 days extension to Dennis Island. Sponsored by Seychelles Tourist Board, in Association with Coral Strand Hotel, Dennis Island and The Underwater Centre This superb prize which is well worth winning. Read on to find out how to enter.

How to enter

Fill in the form below, giving your details and the details required for each of your photos (up to 3 are permitted per month).
You should fill in all the fields in the Photographer's Details section. If you want to enter in the Newcomers Category you MUST answer "YES" to the Newcomers declaration.The Newcomer's section is open onlt to photos taken with a compact digital underwater camera.
Make sure your photos do not exceed 500 pixels in either width or height, or they will be disqualified (about 250k file size).
For each photo entered you must then give

the caption or description of the photo
the location and the approximate date on which the photo was taken
the file location of the photo. Find this by using the Browse button to locate the file on your system. It must be the complete file path or the photo will not be attached to your entry. IMPORTANT - Don't forget to make sure that you have changed the file name as described in the rules.

If you have a message or any other comments to accompany your entry then you can add this in the Message/Comments box.
Click on the Send Entry button when you are ready. Do not hit your Enter or Return key during the completion of the form.

By entering photos for the competition you confirm that you own the copyright for all photographs you submit.
