| Immigration, visa, and passport requirements |
Irrespective of the nationality of the visitor and his or her family members, there are NO VISA requirements to enter Seychelles. However, the following documents are required for immigration clearance:
- A passport valid on the date of entry to and exit from Seychelles
- Return or onward ticket
- Proof of accommodation
- Sufficient funds for the duration of the stay
Presentation of all of the above documents will grant you a Visitor's Permit that will be issued upon arrival by the Seychelles Department of Immigration. The Visitor's Permit is valid for a maximum of one month with extension available upon application.For all visa exemptions and / extensions, please contact:

| Currency |
Forex is used within hotels and at various parks/nature reserves. Usually US dollars, sterling or Euro. The local currency (Seychelles rupee) is used at local restaurants, shops, local transport. We advise all visitors to change money into local currency when in the Seychelles and not to return to the UK with any rupees. |

Divers need to bring proof of certification to be allowed to dive. However, those who have lost or forgotten their certification cards or log-books may be allowed to dive with a Divemaster to a maximum depth of 12 metres, at the discretion of the dive centre.
Those planning to take a diving course who have had a previous medical problem, should obtain and bring with them a certificate from their doctor indicating that they are fit to dive. Local physicians in Seychelles are able to perform a diving medical if required.

- Most qualified instructors are members of PADI
- Dive centres hire all equipment needed.
- Air Seychelles offers and extra 10k allowance to cover personal diving equipment.
- Dive centres around the inner islands include wreck dives, night dives, wall dives and drift dives.
